About NADE – Building Livelihoods with Purpose

NADE is India’s only NGO offering inclusive employment for all types of disabilities. Read how our work transforms lives and supports national rehabilitation efforts.

Our Foundation – Building LivelihoodsSince 1987

The National Association of Disabled’s Enterprises (NADE) is a government-registered NGO established in 1987. Our mission is to create long-term livelihood solutions for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) through structured skill training, employment, and entrepreneurship opportunities. Over the past three decades, we have transformed the lives of more than 10,000 PWDs across India. Through partnerships, training programs, and grassroots support, NADE has helped form over 50 Disabled’s Cooperatives—local, self-sustaining units that empower PWDs to lead independent, economically stable lives within their own communities.

Inclusive Workspaces That Empower Every Ability.

At NADE, inclusion is not just a principle—it’s our daily practice. Our in-house employment units provide regular work and income to over 150 PWDs in areas such as umbrella making, rainwear production, garment stitching, handicrafts, and packaging.

We are proud to be India’s only organization where individuals with visual impairments, orthopaedic conditions, speech and hearing impairments, and intellectual disabilities collaborate under one roof—each contributing meaningfully to high-quality, purpose-driven products.
